Debreceni VSC vs Marsaxlokk FC/FC Pyunik Europa Conference League
The events at Nagyerdei Stadion are mesmerizing to the extent that, since opening in 2014, it can hardly be seen as just another venue. On the eastern edge of Debrecen, the stadium is the paradigmatic convergence of modern architecture, civic pride, and raw enthusiasm from legions of sport and entertainment devotees. Fully covered and top-lit by the latest LED lighting technology, the bowl seats 20,034, making every event feel world-class because of the architecture and the state-of-the-art facilities inside. Its strategic location — a short tram ride from historic downtown Debrecen and adjacent to a ring road that offers parking for up to 1,200 cars — makes the stadium accessible to attendees arriving by car, on foot, or by public transport.
Beyond sports, leading musical acts have found an acoustically optimized interior at Nagyerdei Stadion. The large dome provides an acoustically advantageous shell for summer music lineups, and since opening the venue has hosted a near-continuous sequence of major performers. The venue's LED lighting setup creates a huge visual impact, producing virtual scenery with light, and different stage and audience configurations allow a wide variety of concert formats.

The Nagyerdei Stadium in Debrecen opened on 4 May 2014, replacing the old DVSC Stadium that dated from the 1930s. It now serves as the home for DVSC, the city's first-division football team, and was built as part of a modern redevelopment to provide a multi-use, world-class facility for sport and culture.
The completely covered venue provides seating for up to 20,340 spectators and a playing field that conforms to standard FIFA dimensions (105 m × 68 m). The stadium uses LED floodlights that distribute around 2,500 lux over the playing surface. Built at a cost of roughly 80 million euros, the project was a public–private partnership with contributions from regional stakeholders, including the nearby University of Debrecen. The design emphasizes sustainability and efficient resource use, with cushioned seating zones, generous legroom, and clear sightlines throughout the bowl.
Seats across the stadium are designed for comfort — cushioned seats with ample legroom — so many locations provide a good experience. Premium courtside sections and the central upper tiers offer strong, panoramic views, while suites and press-level vantage points provide a more private, elevated perspective. Barrier-controlled entry points and trained staff help make entry and exit efficient for all ticket holders.
The stadium's seating layout can be visualized textually: left-side sections correspond to the upper and lower tiers; center sections include the premium courtside areas; and right-side blocks house the suite and VIP corridors along the north and south. This textual representation helps you visualize viewing angles from the various cushioned nooks and protected walkway areas.
The stadium's location adjacent to a ring road provides convenient parking options — reports note capacity for around 1,200 cars in nearby parking areas. Parking is a practical option for many events, with organized entry and exits intended to keep traffic flowing smoothly for regular fixtures. For larger international events, arriving earlier is recommended to secure a spot and avoid congestion.
Public transport is a convenient alternative to driving. A tram stop close to the stadium is serviced frequently; it's typically a two-minute walk from the tram platform to the main gate and electronic boards show real-time arrivals. The #23Y bus stops at the venue and runs frequently during match days and major concerts, sometimes with express services. Smart cards covering all modes of Debrecen public transport make single-transaction travel simple and efficient.
Ticombo's verification procedures, seller checks, and fraud monitoring are designed to provide confidence in ticket authenticity and provenance. These measures aim to protect buyers from the common pitfalls of online secondary markets.
Our servers use Transport Layer Security 1.3 (TLS 1.3) with modern cipher suites and Perfect Forward Secrecy to protect data in transit. This reduces exposure to older, vulnerable protocols and helps ensure that payment and personal data are transmitted securely during checkout.
At checkout you can choose delivery methods — e-ticket or printed ticket — apply promotional codes, and complete payment through the secured system. For e-ticket events you'll receive a QR code by email to scan at entry; for physical tickets, shipping information and tracking will be provided so you can monitor delivery.
Culinary offerings include traditional Hungarian dishes such as goulash, langos, and local desserts, alongside standard stadium fare. Six main concourse outlets are positioned at the north and south ends, with additional suite- and press-level service points. Hydration stations and washroom facilities are integrated into the stadium design for convenience during events.
Visual and auditory accommodations are part of the stadium's accessibility measures, including induction loop systems for the hearing-impaired, high-contrast signage, and braille placards to assist visually impaired visitors. Accessible seating, ramps, and appropriately located restrooms aim to ensure comfortable access for guests with mobility needs.
Recent developments include sustainability efforts such as a solar-panel array on the auxiliary training facility projected to produce around 250 kW annually.
